Windscreen Replacement Across the North East
A cracked or smashed windscreen isn't something you can leave. It's not safe to drive on, and it won't pass an MOT.
We fit replacement windscreens at your home, work, or wherever your vehicle is, often the same day you call. Get in touch and we'll talk you through exactly what happens next.

How Windscreen Replacement Works
When you call, we'll ask about the damage, your vehicle, and where you are. That's enough for us to order the right glass and book you in, usually for the same day.
On the day, our fitter comes to you with everything needed to remove the old windscreen and fit the new one properly. There's no need to drive anywhere or sit in a waiting room. You can carry on with your day while the job gets done.
Once the new windscreen is in, we'll talk you through how long to leave it before driving, so the seal has time to set properly.
Do You Need a Replacement or Just a Repair?
Not every chip or crack means a full replacement. Smaller chips away from the edge of the glass can often be repaired in around half an hour, which is usually cheaper and quicker. You can read more about that on our windscreen repair page.
If the damage is large, sits in the driver's line of sight, or reaches the edge of the windscreen, a replacement is usually the safer option. Tell us what you're looking at when you call and we'll give you an honest answer on which one you need.
Windscreen Replacement and Your Insurance
If you've got fully comprehensive insurance, your policy may cover the full cost of windscreen replacement. Have your insurance details ready when we arrive and we'll deal with the paperwork and your insurer directly, so you don't have to chase anyone.
Some policies include an excess for windscreen claims, which is set by your insurer rather than us. We'll let you know what to expect once we've seen your policy details.
If you're not claiming through insurance, that's no problem. We'll give you a clear, competitive price before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
Why We Only Replace Windscreens in Dry Conditions
Fitting a new windscreen relies on an adhesive bond between the glass and your vehicle's frame. That bond needs the right conditions to set properly. If it's wet, the seal can fail, which risks leaks and weakens the structure around the windscreen.
We always check the conditions before starting. If the weather isn't right, we'll either find some shelter or arrange a better time. It's a small delay against getting a job that's done properly and backed by our lifetime guarantee.
